Dear Parent / Guardian

Year 7 Parents’ Evening - Online Appointment Booking

I would like to invite you to attend our Parents’ Evening on  23 October, 3:30pm to 6:00pm in the Sports Hall, to discuss your with your child’s tutor, face-to-face, how he/she has settled into secondary education at Brighton Hill Community School.  The appointment will be limited to five minutes; this is essential to ensure that all parents’ appointments are honoured.  Should you wish to have a longer discussion, a further appointment on another day can be made with the member of staff concerned.

In addition, I will also be delivering a short 15 – 20 minute information presentation on a variety of areas relevant to Year 7 students.  These presentations will take place at 3:30pm, 4:30pm and 5:30pm in the Theatre.

Please use the online appointment booking system to book appointments. This system allows you to choose your own appointment times with relevant teachers.  You will receive an e-mail confirming your appointments once you have completed the booking process.

The school has an online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an e-mail confirming your appointments.

Appointments can be made from Wednesday 9 October and will close at 12pm on Wednesday 23 October.  Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact me here at the school.

Please visit http://bhcs.parentseveningsystem.co.uk to book your appointment.  Login is completed with the following information:

Your child’s first progress tracker, which gives you details of your child’s academic start point and attitude to learning in the subjects they study, will be coming out ahead of the Year 7 tutor evening. This will be further explained during Mr Du-Heaume’s presentation. If you would like to understand more about the progress model at Brighton Hill Community School, please visit our website, click on ‘Supporting your Child’ on the main page and then click through to ‘Progress Trackers’.

If you do not have access to the internet, or have any problems with booking your appointment, please let me know and I will be happy to add appointments on your behalf.  Remember to follow us on Twitter @BrightonHillSch or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BrightonHillSchool/ for news and updates.

Yours sincerely
